Day 1: Pickup from Nairobi, Transfer to Mara, & Evening Game Drive at Masai Mara National Reserve

Your designated professional safari guide will pick you up from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi hotel in the morning. After a short briefing and introductions, the guide will welcome you to your exclusive 4×4 safari land cruiser. 

You will then head out of Nairobi and ease into the Nairobi­-Nakuru highway, taking in the rural sceneries. The safari guide will stop briefly at the scenic Great Rift Valley just to let you wander at nature’s beauty and take photos.

The Masai Mara stretches over 1,510 sq. km, as far as your eye can see and beyond. It is also home to over 500 bird species. If you are a bird lover, look for different species ranging from the common secretary bird to the endangered Egyptian Vulture.
